In 1988 Bill Knowland founded Direct Images Interactive — a full-service multimedia and video production company. His mission: Pursue cutting-edge ideas and technology in delivering innovative, visually stunning multimedia products of the highest quality.

Bill is a producer and director with diverse technical expertise and creative vision. His 30-year background includes producing hundreds of videos and interactive presentations for Adobe Systems, Apple Computer, Altera and CMP Media. In addition, Bill has worked as director of photography on over 20 music videos and has served on the board of directors of Canyon Cinema.

Beverly Knowland, who joined the company in 1994, is one of the multimedia industry’s most sought-after art directors. She has designed over 200 interactive demos, webs sites and CD-ROMs for such Fortune 500 clients as Apple Computer, JDS Uniphase and Charles Schwab.
